ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A man who led Albuquerque police on a high speed chase in 2019 will spend time behind bars after failing to complete drug court. Dominick Cano pleaded guilty to aggravated fleeing charges.

In 2019, Cano fled from officers, reaching speeds up to 104 mph. The chase ended in a crash underneath the Big-I. Police say Cano admitted to being on a three-day meth binge. In 2022, Cano was sentenced to go through drug court, which he failed to complete. In response, Judge Joseph Montano sentenced Cano to two years behind bars.
