NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is a nine-day event starting on Saturday, October 4, and ending on Sunday, October 12. Each year, over 800,000 people venture to Albuquerque to see balloons take flight. The fiesta itself has become one of the most photographed events in the world.
