TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pima County Sheriff's Department is conducting an investigation after two people were found dead in a vehicle southwest of Tucson.
According to PCSD, the two bodies were found near West Ajo Highway and West Hermans Road on Sept. 22 around 11 p.m. after deputies responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Deputies discovered the bodies in the back seat of the vehicle. The people appeared to have been dead for several days, PCSD said.
PCSD Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation, and the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner is conducting autopsies.
Authorities are working to notify the next of kin.
The investigation is ongoing.
