UPDATE: A roof leak caused ceiling tiles to fall at Chattanooga Airport's air traffic control tower and forced controllers to move to an off-site location to work.

The repair work was completed on Tuesday afternoon, and controllers were able to return to the tower.

PREVIOUS STORY: A leak from recent storms caused two ceiling tiles to fall at the air traffic control tower at Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport.

The FAA tells Local 3 News that no people were injured, and no equipment was damaged.

The fallen ceiling tiles caused air traffic control to move operations out of the tower at CHA. The Chattanooga Airport is still operating air traffic control, but from an off-site location.
