CLEVELAND, Ohio - Three months after a devastating fire and explosion at Cleveland’s Rainbow Terrace apartment complex, displaced residents continue to struggle with unanswered questions, housing issues and ongoing trauma.

State officials have yet to determine what caused the deadly blaze June 23, which caused $3.5 million in damage. Cleveland officials and the State Fire Marshal are investigating.

Cleveland City Councilman Richard Starr said residents deserve to know what is going on with the probe, as a lack of information “only deepens the pain and uncertainty our community faces.”

“I strongly urge the authorities to expedite their investigation and provide a transparent, detailed report to the public without delay,” Starr said.
