Authorities in Chino arrested two people who may be linked to a series of retail thefts across Southern California, the Chino Police Department said Tuesday.

The suspects, investigators believe, are linked to a crime spree at sporting goods stores, making away with $22,000 worth of items. In the city of Chino alone, businesses reported over $7,500 in losses.

Surveillance video captured the suspects in action. In one incident, a man was seen grabbing merchandise from the store and shoving it into his pants. On a separate occasion, the same male suspect walked into a store, grabbed an apparent bag and walked out without paying.
