SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The South Dakota Housing Development has announced the appointment of Sara Hornick by Gov. Larry Rhoden.

Hornick has been appointed to the South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDH) Board of Commissioners.

“I am looking forward to serving as a commissioner for the South Dakota Housing Development Authority,” said Hornick. “I am passionate about affordable housing and making it accessible in South Dakota. I am honored to be appointed to this role and look forward to serving South Dakota in this capacity.”

Hornick will work with current commissioners Jonathan Guenthner of Mitchell, Alex Jensen of Sioux Falls, Mark Roby of Watertown, Shauna Sheets of Rapid City, Preston Steel of Huron, and Chairman Scott Erickson of Sioux Falls.
