GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A new documentary celebrating Packers fandom across cultures is set to premiere in Wisconsin theaters this fall. No Packers, No Life tells the story of the Japanese Packers Cheering Team and the Wisconsin friends who helped bring them to Lambeau Field.
A press release says the film comes from the producers of last year's hit baseball documentary Just a Bit Outside. It features Packers legends including Mason Crosby and follows superfans Cheppo, Suh, Ayaka, Ryuta and thers as they travel from Tokyo to Green Bay.
Directed by Wisconsin native Craig Benzine, the firm will debut exclusively in Marcus Theatres on October 17 in Green Bay, Madison, and La Crosse. Advance tickets go on sale October 3 at marcustheatres.com.
