It’s not generally expected that Tom Brady will make everyone furious by talking about dogs during an NFL broadcast. But it really happened on Sunday at Soldier Field. The Bears made a great win against the Cowboys 31-14, yet the talks after the game weren’t about Chicago’s rookie coach or Dallas’ struggles. It was about Brady’s strange choice of words on national television.

The seven-time Super Bowl champ now works in the booth for Fox Sports. Late in the game, the cameras caught Cowboys receiver George Pickens slamming his helmet in frustration.

Brady chimed in with a line that immediately set social media on fire: “Kick the dog, throw the helmet, whatever it takes.”
