A Dolton man was sentenced to 20 years, eight months in federal prison for firing multiple rounds of gunfire in a Calumet City parking lot in 2021.
U.S. District Judge John Tharp sentenced Anthony Hayes, 27, on Friday. Jamari Williams, 26, and Reginald Daniels, 33, both of Chicago, were also involved in the gunfire exchange. Williams was sentenced in August to 10 years in prison, and Daniels was sentenced in June to eight and a half years.
Hayes and Williams each fired multiple rounds at Daniels in an auto repair shop in Calumet City, injuring Daniels and another individual, according to court documents.
