If you've been on Dobbins Landing recently, you may have noticed some construction near the Bicentennial Tower.

The Erie Port Authority is reconstructing the south dock wall on East Dobbins Landing after the previous wall was getting run-down.

The project is currently in phase one of two.

Phase one involves the dock reconstruction, while phase two will add some sidewalks and lighting to the perimeter for pedestrian access.

As for what the space will become after phase two, Anna Frantz, the Port Authority's deputy executive director, said that they're still working it out, but they do recognize its potential.
