CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department has arrested and charged two employees with selling tobacco products to underage customers at a store in West Ashley.
Hussein Abdelmoteleb, 65, of Charleston, is charged with unlawful sale of tobacco to minors third offense, and Zeyad Elsheimy, 40, of Charleston, is charged with two counts of unlawful sale of tobacco to minors and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to Charleston Police.
Both men were employed at Saints Market on Orleans Road.
The store was previously investigated in 2022 for selling alcohol to minors, leading to the store having its alcohol license revoked.
