SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The San Angelo Central Bobcats played their most-complete game of the season last week in a 49-21 win on the road against Belton, and they will take a two-game winning streak into the non-district finale on Friday.

After starting the season at 0-2, the Bobcats are 2-2 heading into a matchup on the road against Waco High this week.

Central will have a bye week after Friday's game against the Lions, before starting District 2-6A play at home against Midland Legacy on Friday, Oct. 10.

The Bobcats are in the middle of the same stretch of games that saw them reel off three-straight wins last year before district play.
