KENNETT, Mo. (WSIL) -- Kennett firefighters responded to a fire in Rector, Arkansas, on Tuesday.

The Kennett Fire Department was dispatched to assist with a blaze in Rector's downtown district. Upon arrival, crews said they found a two-story commercial building fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters said the structure housed a flower shop on the first floor, with the former Masonic Lodge upstairs.

Kennett firefighters noted the strong community support in Rector. Citizens provided drinks and snacks, and local businesses offered restroom access to firefighters.

The Copper Rose thanked emergency services and community members for helping put out the fire at her place of business.
