The Comox Valley Airport (YQQ) has set new passenger records this summer, welcoming more passengers through the terminal than ever before.
June, July and August 2025 each marked the busiest months on record for the respective months, with more than 50,000 passengers flying through YQQ in August — the highest single month in the airport’s history.
“Setting new records month after month this summer is a clear signal that the Comox Valley and Vancouver Island are thriving and connected regions,” said Comox Valley Airport Commission board chair Bill Anglin in a release.
“The success of our direct Toronto service in particular highlights how important these nonstop connections are for families, business, and tourism.”
