The Detroit Lions linebacker defends against the run with a ferocious mentality, using every bit of his size and speed as possible. And despite entering Week 3 against the Baltimore Ravens as questionable with an ankle injury and playing with a giant bandage on his face for most of the game, Jack Campbell didn’t leave the field for a single defensive snap.

Dan Campbell said Jack Campbell suffered a facial laceration during the team’s 38-30 win against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night. The Lions coach added that the rest of the defense ate that toughness and the visceral image up.
