AN explosion has rocked central Oslo on Tuesday after cops detonated a grenade and arrested a boy.
Norwegian police are investigating a blast in central Oslo on Tuesday evening.
Police have warned the public to stay away from the site, as there were likely to be more explosives present.
Oslo Police Chief Brian Skotnes has confirmed police have taken control of the scene and made an arrest.
According to Norway's Aftenposten, a boy born in 2012 has been arrested.
"[The police] are now taking into account that there may be several people involved," Chief Skotnes said.
Police have said the explosions were a "showdown between criminals".
Police are hunting other potential suspects in relation to the explosions, however they have not disclosed how many people they are searching for.
