TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - The Children’s Services Council of Leon County released its first report reviewing the first few years of operation.
The report shows CSC has impacted more than 126,000 children and families from 2021-2024.
The report highlights more than $4.2 million invested in expanding prenatal support, affordable childcare and pre-K resiliency programs, something CSC of Leon County Executive Director Cecka Rose Green says is vital for children’s development.
“When we talk about kindergarten readiness, we really have to look at the time prenatally, and then in the first three years of the child’s life,” Green said. “So, the impact that we’ve had with more than 130 expectant parents, expectant moms, in this community to get them into navigation services, ensure that they’re
