A Ponchatoula man has been arrested in connection with a three-vehicle crash that sent eight people to area hospitals, including three children under the age of 8, authorities said.
The injuries from Monday night's crash are significant and life threatening, Ponchatoula Police Chief Bry Layrisson said.
Anthony P. Conley, 68, was booked Tuesday with felony hit and run, eight counts of felony obstruction of justice, eight counts of misdemeanor negligent injuring and driving with a suspended license, police said.
