The Cleveland Cavaliers continued to make moves to strengthen their bench Tuesday (Sept. 22) by adding point guard Killian Hayes, most recently with the Brooklyn Nets , according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Hayes played six games for the Nets last season averaging 9 points, 3 rebounds, 5.2 assists per game and he shot 38.1% from the 3-point line. In his career, he's played 216 NBA games, averaging 8.1 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.2 assists.

He spent much of last season playing for the G League Long Island Nets.

Hayes was the No. 7 overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons .
