Legendary television writer and producer Ron Friedman passed away at the age of 93 and leaves behind an incredible television legacy. Variety reported that Friedman died from cardiopulmonary arrest at the Motion Picture and Television Fund in Woodland Hills on Sept. 15, 2025. Freidman had an extensive resume, but to many fans, he was best known as the creator of the popular G.I. Joe series from the 1980s and the writer of the cult-favorite film, Transformers: The Movie.
