SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A former manager at a gas station in Springfield has been charged with a felony after a store audit revealed more than $25,000 missing in cash.

According to online court dockets, Phylicia E. Frazier, born in 1988, of Springfield, is charged with felony stealing $750 or more in Greene County Circuit Court.

The probable cause statement alleges Frazier stole cash from Casey’s on N. Kansas Expressway during the first half of August 2023.

The store’s asset protection manager reported cash shortages at the store tied to change orders. He told the Springfield Police Department (SPD) he was notified on Aug. 30, 2023, about the discrepancies, per the statement.
