When it comes to planning for Ridgefield’s growth over the next 20 years, the city and Clark County planning staff seem to be at odds over where and how the city will meet demand for housing and jobs.
“Our vacant buildable lands model estimates capacity for housing and employment. What the model says is that Ridgefield has sufficient capacity to accommodate the residential and employment growth overall,” Jose Alvarez, program manager in the county’s Community Planning office, said in an email Thursday.
Ridgefield officials disagree.
