SHREVEPORT, La. - No injuries were reported but an arrest has been made when shots were fired Monday morning following an incident between a man and woman.

Shreveport police officers were dispatched around 7:30 a.m. to the 3600 block of Michigan Avenue to an armed person call. Their preliminary investigation indicated a woman who was returning home after dropping a child off at a nearby school encountered Jacobe Harris, 33.

The two argued then Harris reportedly pointed a black firearm at her. She ran and Harris chased her.

Harris didn't catch up with the woman so he went to her mother's nearby home. After being denied entry, Harris allegedly fired multiple rounds into the yard before leaving. No one was struck by the gunfire.
