LOGAN — A 41-year-old garage door installer from Hyrum has been arrested for stealing money from two customers. Kyle Bret Hansen, owner of Apex Garage Doors, was booked briefly into the Cache County Jail, following an investigation by the Cache County Sheriff’s Office.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, deputies were contacted in June by one of the alleged victims. They described paying Hansen $4,065 to install a new garage door.

The job was never completed. Hansen reportedly gave the alleged victim various excuses, including the distribution center not receiving the order, his cellphone not working, complications with another job, and his son being involved in a traffic accident.
