The state on Tuesday suspended a Savage daycare's license, effective immediately, following an infant's death and findings that children at the facility were "at an imminent risk of harm."
The death happened Monday at the Rocking Horse Ranch Childcare facility in Savage and is under investigation by the Savage Police Department and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
Police have not yet indicated what caused the infant's death, but the department issued a statement Tuesday morning encouraging families to "closely monitor" children who attend Rocking Horse Ranch for "altered mental status, unusual behavioral changes, or other concerning symptoms."
