PHOENIX (KVOA) - Arizona is seeing strong voter turnout in the Congressional District 7 Special Election, with a significant majority opting for mail-in voting.
According to a press release, this continues a trend in the state, where over 82,000 early ballots were returned by Sept. 19.
"The bipartisan trust we’re seeing now shows just how far Arizona has come since the audit-driven chaos of 2021," said Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes.
Recent polling by Noble Predictive Insights shows that 75% of Arizona voters want to maintain or expand mail-in voting access, with only 18% favoring stricter rules. Among Republicans, 68% support maintaining or easing the system, while 28% would like to see more restrictions.
"Mail-in voting has become normalized in Arizona," said Mike Noble, CE
