New pickleball courts now open at Killeen park

KILLEEN, Texas (KXXV) — Four new pickleball courts are now open in Killeen after the city renovated a tennis court in September at the Long Branch Park.

The city said there is still some work being done in the area to add a concrete slab and benches.

The renovations started earlier this month when City Council approved the $25,000 project in response to interest in the sport from the community.
