Ethics complaints against former Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright will move forward, according to the South Carolina Ethics Commission.

"Four complaints were filed against Mr. Wright. Last Thursday, probable cause was found on all four complaints," a commission representative wrote in an email to the Herald-Journal.

Complaints stem from charges of nepotism ― Wright had hired his son, Andy, for a role with the sheriff's office.
