MORGAN COUNTY, Mo - Two men from Versailles were injured in a one-vehicle accident in Morgan County yesterday afternoon.

The accident occurred just after 3 on Camellia Road near Proctor Road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a pickup truck driven by an 18-year-old Versailles man ran off the right side of the road while traveling downhill. The truck then slid sideways and overturned.

Both he and his passenger, a 19-year-old Versailles man, suffered serious injuries in the crash. The driver was taken to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach while his passenger was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia. Neither man was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
