SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- The lights are off, the doors are locked, and the kitchen is quiet inside Ale 'n' Angus, a popular downtown destination known for its burgers and Syracuse Crunch's game-day crowds.
The pub temporarily closed on September 18 and plans to reopen on October 10.
Owner of Ale 'n' Angus, Matt Beach, said construction on Montgomery and Harrison Streets has made it nearly impossible for customers to stop in. The construction stems from both the former Tech Garden and the apartment conversions above the pub, which, according to Beach, have slowed down business.
"When you close two lanes from Harrison, it only allows you to have one lane, meaning, there's no on-street parking," Beach said. "So you can't park your car and grab your lunch, or park your car, come in and h
