PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Following the deadly shooting of right-wing advocate Charlie Kirk, leaders of a Southwest Washington city are considering designating a street in his honor.
Later this week, the Longview City Council is scheduled to discuss renaming the section of Maple Street from Olympia Way to Washington Way to “Charlie Kirk Way.” The proposal was introduced by Council Member Erik Halvorson and supported by Council Member Keith Young, according to the upcoming agenda.
