AMES — Fresh off their first bye week of the season, Iowa State football will return home to take on Arizona in Week 5 of the 2025 season.
The No. 13 Cyclones (4-0) host the Wildcats (3-0) at Jack Trice Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 27, with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m. It marks the first time the two programs have played since 1968, and history is not on Iowa State ’s side.
Arizona holds a 4-1-1 advantage all-time against the Cyclones. The last time these programs met– Sept. 21, 1968 – the Wildcats came away with the 21-12 win. But that history isn’t recent, and both teams will enter Saturday’s game with a clean slate.
