Instead of glow bowling, birthday parties and family fun, the now-defunct Leda’s Light House in Nashua is set to become a $16 million standalone emergency room run by Catholic Medical Center.

CMC officials will break ground for the Nashua Emergency Room on Oct. 28 and expect to open the facility by mid-2026. At almost 10,000 square feet, the building at 338 Amherst St. would provide patients with 24-hour, seven-days-a-week emergency services, including advanced diagnostic technology like computerized tomography (CT scans), ultrasound and radiology, as well as an on-site lab, ambulance entrance, and a pediatric waiting and treatment area.
