ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis area parents and doctors are weighing in after President Donald Trump called for an FDA warning label on Tylenol, claiming a link between the common over-the-counter medication and autism spectrum disorder.
On Monday, Trump said, “So taking Tylenol is, uh, not good. Or I’ll say it, it’s not good,” adding that the FDA should begin looking into the potential risk. He also said the agency would be issuing a physician notice about the use of acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, during pregnancy.
