Students at Oklahoma State University had mixed reactions to the departure of Head Coach Mike Gundy on Tuesday. Many of them agreed that something needed to be done, but some students felt like Gundy deserved another chance to make improvements.

“I think it's time for him to retire. I think he did a lot of good for OSU, but I just think that things have changed,” said Audrey Gibson, Pre-Med Major.

“The man has been here for 20 years. Three bad years, two bad years, whatever it's been now does not trump the 20 good years that he's done for OSU,” said John Ramsay, Gundy Fan.

Not only has Gundy been the head coach for 20 years, starting his 21 st season, he was once a student. From 1986 to 1989, Gundy played quarterback for the Cowboys.
