Late conservative Christian activist Charlie Kirk never lived in Miami-Dade, but part of a state-run roadway there could bear his name by this time next year, thanks to legislation proposed by Miami Republican Rep. Juan Porras .
The measure ( HB 33 ) would designate a one-mile stretch on Southwest 107th Avenue (State Road 90) between 8th Street and 24th Street as “Charlie Kirk Memorial Avenue.”
