TORONTO — Red Sox star rookie Roman Anthony hasn’t begun baseball activities and he’s unlikely to do so in the imminent future.

An oblique strain landed the 21-year-old outfielder on the 10-day injured list Sept. 3. He has worked out on the treadmill and Peloton .

“Being around him a little bit, you can see he’s getting more comfortable,” chief baseball officer Craig Breslow said Tuesday before Boston’s game against the Blue Jays at Rogers Centre . “When it first happened, you could look at him and tell that he was in quite a bit of discomfort and pain. That has subsided, but there’s still quite a bit of room to get to in terms of baseball activities.”

Anthony had been one of Boston’s most productive offensive players for the two and a half months before his injury. He’s batting .2
