DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- On Tuesday, Enterprise residents voted in the final round on the next mayor of Enterprise, choosing between Mayor William Cooper and Bill Baker.

"We really worked hard since the last election to make sure this runoff counts, so we are excited about getting to tonight," said Baker.

"We are hoping everybody will turnout and do what they need to do. Of course, we have an agenda that started four years ago, and it's working," Mayor Cooper told WDHN.

This comes after last month, when Mayor Cooper received almost 2,000 votes, garnering 48% of the votes. Baker got 30% of the votes then, but he did more campaigning this round.

"Just continued to knock on doors, talk to the people, and use media to the best of our ability," Baker said.
