Disney has revealed plans to increase its streaming subscription prices in the next month. The streaming giants have been fighting to compete with Netflix and Prime Video for dominance of the streaming sector, and with Disney's extensive back catalog, Disney+ has over 150 million paid subscribers.

Disney+ is also the home to many of Disney's flagship brands, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the Star Wars franchise , as well as Hulu, Star, National Geographic, and ESPN. Despite the recent controversy surrounding Disney's decision to suspend Jimmy Kimmel from late-night TV, the company is planning to increase its prices.
