NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) — The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority has released the new route in its revised southern extension plan.

The announcement was made in a meeting closed to the public, but the remarks were livestreamed for individuals to watch online.

In the Norman area, the route will run between 48th and 60th. In Noble, the turnpike is running between 60th and 72nd.

OTA estimates 75 homes impacted in the new alignment, with the possibility for more, as they continue planning and design.

For residents with homes is in the alignment, the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is hosting three public meetings to discuss possible options for acquisition.
