A new cookbook, “Eugenia Duke’s Unofficial Mayo Guide to Greenville, SC Cookbook,” is now available for purchase.

The cookbook offers a variety of favorites such as deviled eggs and tomato pie sandwich, along with many others. The recipes were provided by Upstate chefs and restaurants.

Duke’s Mayo was founded in Greenville in 1917 by Eugenia Duke during World War I. It began with Duke making sandwiches for soldiers at Camp Sevier using their special mayonnaises. With the rise in popularity, Duke started to bottle the condiment in 1923.

The book is available for a limited time. Pre-orders are available now and should ship by mid-October. It can be purchased at store.visitgreenvillesc.com/products/dukes-unofficial-mayo-guide-to-greenville-sc-cookbook.
