'I haven’t said I’m not playing': Tatum fuels Celtics’ hopes amid reset

Boston Celtics fans were distraught after Jayson Tatum tore his Achilles in the Eastern Conference semifinals against the New York Knicks . With Tatum sidelined for months, Boston knew it was facing a major setback.

Expecting a reset season, the Celtics traded away key pieces from their 2023 championship squad, including Kristaps Porzingis and Jrue Holiday, to shed salary. The team also moved on from veteran center Al Horford, electing not to re-sign him in free agency.
