Here are the results from the 2025 city runoffs that were held throughout the area on Tuesday, September 23.

CITY ELECTION RESULTS

These runoffs were necessary because no candidate received a majority of votes the last time the voters went to the polls on August 26. The top two finishers were the ones who faced off in the runoffs to decide a winner.

The city elections are non-partisan, which means candidates don’t run as a Democrat or Republican

Not every town had a runoff on September 23. Many races were decided last month. In addition, Montgomery and Auburn don’t hold city elections this year. Auburn holds its city elections in 2026, and Montgomery’s elections are in 2027.
