A SPECIAL FLIGHT: LaFayette Fire helps grant local woman’s wish to fly

LaFayette Fire Department’s Red Shift crew teamed up with Pruitt Healthcare to help grant a special wish for Ms. Henderson, an elderly woman, through the organization’s Committed to Care program.

Ms. Henderson’s wish was to take flight over LaFayette, Georgia — and with the department’s help, she got the chance to see the city from above.

Fire officials said it was an honor to be part of such a meaningful moment.
