WATERTOWN — The Aberdeen Wings kicked off another North American Hockey League season (2025-26) with a home-and-road sweep over the league's other South Dakota team , the Watertown Shamrocks.

The Wings posted a 6-1 win on their home ice (Odde Center at Aberdeen) on Sept. 19 and completed the weekend sweep with a 6-3 win over the Shamrocks on Sept. 20 in the Prairie Lakes Ice Arena in Watertown.

A crowd of 1,802 took in the Sept. 19 game at Aberdeen and 1,540 the Sept. 20 game in Watertown.

Both the Wings and Shamrocks are scheduled to compete Sept. 24-27 in the NAHL Showcase at Blaine, Minn.

The NAHL's regular season continues into mid-April, 2026.
