TANEY COUNTY, Mo. - Heavy rains left flooding roads across the Ozarks, and even knocked out power for some on Tuesday.

The Ozarks First weather team noting that Branson saw over four inches of rainfall by 3 p.m.

At one point in time, over 1,100 people were without power in Taney County.

Drivers in Branson say they've noticed people have been either driving with extra caution, or not paying attention to the slick roads.

"Biggest problem, I suppose, is right after a rain when there hasn't been any, is the slick roads and people aren't ready for that," said Ken Irvin.

Irvin has lived in Branson for over 30 years. He says all this rain is a needed change from the extremely dry conditions we've seen in the Ozarks.
