GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - The Grand Island City Council voted unanimously to approve Patrick Brown as the city’s next city administrator.
Brown replaces Laura McAloon who resigned Sept. 9.
He’s has served as Grand Island’s Assistant City Administrator, Chief Financial Officer and Acting Finance Director/City Treasurer.
Brown said he’s proud to serve the city in this new position.
“You get into public service, and especially with me starting in state government, then with the local government, finding out I really have a passion for this, to finally get able to lead an organization is one of the goals I’ve always had,” Brown said.
