YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A large crowd gathered at an East Side Youngstown church Tuesday evening with serious concerns about how the McGuffey Centre is being operated.
Around 100 people attended the meeting, which was led by Denice Davis, a former McGuffey Centre employee who was recently let go.
Davis recommended that the center's board and chairman be replaced. She accused those running the center of creating a hostile working environment that included excessive and inappropriate communication, derogatory language and unfounded accusations.
Davis specifically mentioned how she and other employees found a missing child.
"Instead of praise, we received angry and critical calls from the board president questioning who gave us permission to have phones, to have cameras on our phones.
