PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Phillies enter the final homestand of the regular season with a chance to secure a first-round bye in the postseason.
Philadelphia clinched their second straight NL East title last week . They currently hold the No. 2 seed in the National League, which would grant a first-round bye and home-field advantage through the NL Division Series.
With six regular-season games remaining, the Phillies' magic number to clinch the No. 2 seed stands at two - meaning any combination of Phillies wins or Dodgers losses totaling two will lock them into the spot.
The Milwaukee Brewers hold the top seed position.
